Louis Milusnic
Louis Milusnic is the Assistant Director of the Program Review Division. Mr. Milusnic began his career with the Bureau of Prisons in 1996, as a Correctional Officer at FCI Florence (CO). He served in positions of increasing responsibility including Case Manager at FCC Florence, Unit Manager at FCI Milan (MI), Executive Assistant/Camp Administrator at FCI Texarkana (TX), Section Chief of the Designation and Sentence Computation Center in Grand Prairie (TX), Associate Warden at FCC Florence, and Warden at FCI Victorville Medium II (CA). Mr. Milusnic also served as Deputy Regional Director for the Western Region (CA) and later as Warden at MDC Los Angeles (CA) before being selected as Complex Warden at FCC Victorville (CA). He assumed his current position as Assistant Director of the Program Review Division on December 8, 2019.
As Assistant Director, Mr. Milusnic oversees a wide variety of areas, including guiding managers in the assessment of operations, assisting management in the strategic planning process, coordinating and monitoring oversight activities of auditors, and ensuring effective management and operational procedures exist throughout the Bureau of Prisons. He also serves as the Affirmative Employment Programs Director and the Equal Employment Opportunity Director for the agency.
Mr. Milusnic received his Bachelor of Sociology degree in Criminology from the University of Southern Colorado (now known as Colorado State University-Pueblo). He has been a member of the Senior Executive Service since 2016.
