FLOW Bus Supports National Reentry Week

(BOP) - On April 25, 2016, Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW Bus) participated in a National Reentry Week event at the Federal Prison Camp within the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Coleman, FL. The FLOW Bus helps inmates obtain drivers licenses and identification cards. These basic forms of identification, required for opening a checking account, paying utilities, and applying for employment, are key to beginning a successful reentry.

The FLOW Bus has been partnering with FCC Coleman since October 2013 and has helped 279 inmates obtain a driver's license and an additional 287 inmates obtain Florida state identification cards. The FLOW Bus also partners with FCI Miami and FDC Miami, and participated in events at those locations during National Reentry Week.
